I have had both and I would say the Ninja is better....the magic bullet is harder to clean and mine ended up breaking...

I haven't had the Ninja, but I use the magic bullet and I LOVE IT. It's amazing for smoothies, and pretty much everything else. I like that I can drink my smoothies and stuff straight from the blender (though I'm not sure if that's an option or not with the Ninja).

I also have had both. The Ninja is amazing. I make a protein shake in mine every day. I have also chopped veggies for veggie pizza. Make cake batter. Soup. Margaritas. Salsa.

You will be very happy with your Ninja purchase.

Have both. Think I prefer my Ninja over my Bullet though.

Seriously though, you can't go wrong with either one.

I have a ninja and I love it! My mom's got a bullet that I tried and absolutely hated! It didn't blend as smoothly and they don't hold near as much.

Do both handle ice very well. I'm using an old blender and it's just a pain to clean up. Doesn't crush the ice in my smoothies very well either. Thanks for the input so far.

My Ninja is awesome, but I put it in the dishwasher and the container is cloudy now. Works fine, but it annoys me.

If you're talking about what killed JFK, definitely the magic bullet.

If you're talking about food processing products, well.... then I have no idea.

NINJA! It's not even a contest.
It makes powdery ice, just like a southern snow cone.

I use it every day, with the Alton Brown smoothie recipe.
Everything frozen, tossed in with almond milk.

That's what I'm interested in, super fine crushed ice. Do you have the big model or the smaller one. The one I'm looking at is around $60.00 I think. It's the one with the motor on top of the jar.

Paul, I have the oldest model, with the motor on top. I bought it at Sam's Club about a year ago, and it is in the exact same shape as the day I bought it. And I throw it in the dishwasher every morning.
Magic bullet is way too many parts for me to keep up with and take up space in my kitchen.
