Hi everyone, my self and my daughter have been loosing weight for the past three weeks, it’s great when you have stuck to your calories religiously and you see weight loss. Sadly this week we both stayed the same, my daughter had her monthly’s last week but she is very disheartened as this week she has stayed the same, we both did. Can anybody shed any light why we would have stayed the same this week when we have been doing everything right. Many thanks everyone.

Weight loss isn't linear, it's completely normal not to lose every week.

Stick weigh ins in trending weight app. Look at results over 4 to 6 weeks, not week to week. Especially for women you may want to compare results to the same time the previous MONTH, not week so as to take into account hormonal water weight variations. I would consider trendweight.com, weightgrapher.com, happy scale on iphone and libra on android.

If it's stuck for longer time, change something. You might even try to eat more and add in more exercise.

Totally normal not to lose every week, particularly when you have to factor in hormonal water swings from your monthly cycle.

week 4 ? ..... time of the month maybe, that will cause you to retain or even put on temporary weight. Have you increased your workouts ? .. that will cause water retention for a while .. then of course there is the whole, what did you eat before weigh in ,, high sodium or carb meals will also cause temporary water retention until your body flushes it out
