I’m back on this, fresh start & sticking to it this time :) I used MFP for years, faithfully logging every morsel I ingested. I fell off for awhile and could not get myself back on consistently.
So... last night I created my new log in (fresh start, something about visualizing my past discouraged me, I felt like I failed the future already... like I couldn’t compete with who I was then lol). I need friends to help me stay accountable and logging in. My diary will remain open! I don’t have a ton of weight to lose although it feels like a lot to me. My pants are getting tight and I want to get stronger / more muscular. I have some personal fitness goals in mind. I also find that the healthier I eat, the more it changes everything in my life. Energy, focus, and mindset.
So I’m sticking to this for my overall well being in addition to my weight.
I am 36, was a single mom now an only parent as of November. Lots of changes and I could def use anything that helps my focus & gives me a sense of control. I’m considering doing some intermittent fasting, nothing crazy, I have to research it more... but I feel like the periods when I don’t eat gives me some mental clarity and energy. Anywho. Any tips on intermittent fasting appreciated, any friends that can help me stay accountable appreciated.
Feel free to add me! Today’s the day.
I MIGHT even work out today

So far so good. Went to the grocery store. Purchased a new food scale. Bought a nifty salad chopper. Froze my lovely lemon blueberry ricotta pound cake that I baked so no temptation to eat it. And serving the kids large portions of their ice cream cake to get rid of it. Whoop whoop

Hey! Add me if you like, I'm keeping my diary open too, and I also fast intermittently. I'd be happy to help with accountability :) good luck in any case!

Hi Megg, I’m a first time user but totally get what u r saying with ‘not much to lose but feels like a lot to me’ I am forever having to say that to people, I want to lose weight for me too. As for intermittent fasting I don’t know how u would do it, I LOVE my food, I was considering appetite suppressants as I just won’t stop eating lol. From Jenny
