Hi jessi, I like chips too, but I have managed to not eat as much of it like I use to anymore. Do you find yourself craving it all the time or do you crave it only when around it?

There are no bad foods, just bad portion sizes

*edit: unless you are allergic to something, then don't eat it lol

Chips find their way into my belly at least once or twice a week. You just need to make the allowance for them in your daily calories.

No foods are healthy or unhealthy. All foods can be eaten in moderation. A healthy diet is varied and balanced, providing you with enough of all you need every day, and not too much of anything over time.

It's very difficult to not eat what you long for when you tell yourself it's forbidden. It's very difficult to eat healthily when you don't know what eating healthy means, because it makes you think that it means "food you don't really like".

Awww no sad face needed!! :)

Just learn portion control and you can eat whatever you want to eat.
I pre-log my food to make sure I'm eating at a deficit for the day.
It also helps to see the calorie number that I'm about to eat or binge on to decide if I want to eat them or need to eat them.

My food diary usually looks like this:

Monday: Pizza night for dinner so I go easy on the calories for breakfast and lunch
Tuesday - Friday: These are the nights I will cook (a usually quick and easy meal) for the hubby and I
Saturday - Sunday: Restaurant or Fast food (no breakfast on weekends)

    I also work a desk job 8-5

My food diary is open and you can add me as a friend if you'd like!

Nothing wrong with eating chips as long as it's portion sized. rather than buying the jumbo size bags, buy the small individual bags. If your snacking tends to happen late in the evening after you have already eaten dinner, I will suggest curb the craving by drinking lemon or lime flavored water. Try going to bed early to avoid getting tempted.
