Low impact exercises

My doctor says I need to stay off my leg due to an injury. I don't want to go a whole week without doing anything. What is something that I can do that won't cause a lot of stress on my legs?
Also, she says that I should find another form of exercise besides running since this seems to be reoccuring. What would be a good replacement?

While you have to stay off of your leg I would do punches, Jillian Micheals says that it is a great low impact cardio workout . After your leg is healed maybe swimming laps. That is No impact but burns tons of calories!0

Right now I can't afford to join a gym and I can't swim. So both are not an option. :ohwell:0
