Should I count the calories burnt whilst walking to work every day or doesn't it count because my body is used to it?

  • Defo count that! It's exercise all the same, burning calories is burning calories... whether it's a familiar route or not!
(And well done you for walking to work!) =] xx

    It counts! Even doing housework!

Bit of a judgement call but - I do because - my daily activity level is sedentary but I walk 20min 5 days to/from work and I changed my ways and take "all" stairs I can now-a-days both ways. But if I found I wasn't losing to plan then I'd maybe re-assess that decision.

Thank you :) I was thinking that I would because my actual job doesn't necessarily contain much activity and therefore walking to work wouldn't be covered by my "normal" daily activities but just wanted clarification :) I feel amazing for walking to work and it's really nice to have some time to myself :)
