Diary Notes - Ideas??

Hi All,
Just interested - what do you use your notes section in your diary for? What type of things do you put in there? Does it help with your weight loss and motivation?
I would like to start using it, so open to all suggestions! :-)

I use it to record the projected weight loss for 5 weeks from now so that I can then compare. I used to go forward five weeks and input it there. I also use it to explain anything strange (as my food diary is open to friends) that foreign friends may not understand. And last but not least, I use it as a little mini-blog sometimes, either with comments like "good day" or "could have been better" etc. with reasons why if I can think of any.0

I personally use it to explain any "anomalies" - really for myself. Normally on the food front it's to say "really stressful day and completely mis-counted dinner calories" or something. For exercise I might explain an unusually high burn rate if it was something I wouldn't normally do.0

I record my daily weight; each time I have a glass of water and data from mapmywalkwhen I manage to get one in! Can be used for whatever you want

if i'm over or under my calories i put a note in to say why! ( ill, TOM, stressed, girls night out)0

I use it to explain my food diary - what actual food I made with the ingredients - also if I eat out, or have a day out of the ordinary..... I have wonderful pals that actually look at my diary - and make comments about the dishes, and also because I am in New Zealand ask questions about things that might be foreign to them :-)0

I do the in 5 weeks time thing too... mostly because I use that number to compare yesterday with today and tomorrow... not with in 5 weeks time.0

I use it to type what the quick add calories were!0

I use mine to say how I was that day.. if I ate over or under my calorie allowance I put why,
also if I ate something that day that made me bloated or had a bad effect on me, I also note it, so i try and stay away from it in future.0 -
I use it for the 5 weeks thing and also because I've started calorie cycling, I put what my daily goal is! Some useful suggestions here though, that I might try out in the some time...0
