Sigh. I lost 6pounds and was feeling great. I was exercising and eating well, still having occasional treats but under control.
I then got sick and had no energy to exercise and ate lots of comfort food.
I'm better now but the weight is back on and I just don't know how to start! I feel so helpless.

Start small and track all your food. Stay positive. You can do this.0

I know it sounds cliche, but take it one day at a time, or even one meal at a time. One good food decision can lead to two, then three, which makes a good day, then two good days and so on. It doesn't have to be perfect, we all slip up sometimes, just know that you can get back on track.
Calories In vs. Calories Out isn't perfect. But it WORKS, because it's good enough.1 -
Even though, when you were sick, you found the pounds you lost, you still dropped six pounds prior to that, so you know that what you were doing was correct. We are all going to have little setbacks and we just deal with them. Like the above comments say, one day at a time.
You've got this!0
