Ladies, how much do you squat?

I'm 5'2, 135lb, and I've been doing 3X8s recently. I can squat 115lbx8, and front-squat 85lbx8. I've never done 1rm.
I've been kinda stuck at these weights for a while, so I just ordered some fractional plates. I hope they help me make some new progress.0 -
I think I need to push myself harder! I am new to the whole lifting thing and actually just started the “Fierce Five” program with my husband.
Currently I am at 70lbs for 8 reps x 3 sets. I think I could do more, but I want to be confident in my form before loading more up.
Also, should I be doing fewer reps with higher weight? Such as 5 reps instead of 8? And I have never attempted to find my 1rm.0 -

5'5", 149lbs and 29 years old. My heaviest weight for squats has been 245lbs but my heavy sets are usually at 225lbs for 5 reps.
Currently bulking so I am planning to start increasing my squat weight again as strength increases.
I find this interesting. I can squat 245 as well but I don't know if I can do 225 for 5s. I don't think so.
I stayed at a max of 225lbs for quite a while and worked up to 5 reps with good depth and form. At first one of my knees was caving in a bit so I didn't want to increase weight before strengthening that. On Monday I increased my weight to 245lbs and got in 4 good reps.1 -
45, 5'3". I don't squat heavy. I've been using dumbbells for the last 9 months and gone from 3lbs to 17.5, 2 sets of 8 reps, 1 set of 12. I plan to begin with 20s in two weeks. (Doing front squats on the ground and side squats on a cardio step.)3

You ladies are awesome! I've been lifting for 4 years and my squats have not progressed in the past 3 years. My other lifts are getting way better, it's so discouraging!
At 5'3, 115lbs my 1RM is 155lbs0 -
Wow, I'm inspired by these replies!
Separate question - any tips if you don't have a squat rack? I'm leaning forward to pick up the bar from behind the weight bench. Not safe at all, so I stick with just the bar.
Any tips for a work-around?
Thanks!0 -
50 years old back squat 1RM is 205. I am five two and 165lbs. Front squat have not done above 95 but never figured out a one rep max.2

My PR was 200lbs
Now that I took sometime off from lifting I am back down to 80lbs easy
Trying to work my way back up !2 -
Nothing impressive. I'm a cardio queen.
4 x 6 reps at body weight or a little more (145-155). Almost all my strength comes from biking/swimming, but I'm trying to strength train more.0 -
4’11- Weight 109. Im 24.. Started lifting 2.5 years ago in powerlifting and now I switched to more bodybuilding type of training since Ive started competing. Currently I squat once a week because now Im on prep but last sunday I did 4 sets of 10reps at 165. My 1 rep max is 245.4

That's amazing!0 -
So jealous of you all, although my numbers were never amazing I was squatting 80kg while weighing 67kg. But now my marathon training has really ramped up I can't do the heavy lifting and still recover so I'm doing 50% 1rpm for volume with all lifts. So only squatting 40kg for 3x10.0

27. 178lbs, 5'8.
My max (in both gym and competition) is 110kg / 242lbs.
My last working sets I did on Monday were 6 sets of 4 at 82kg / 180lbs.0 -
Wow, so many beautiful, strong legs on this thread! That's one of the reasons why squats are amazing for leg workouts. I myself do 100 bodyweight squats every other day. I've just never gotten into lifting weights consistently, but wow yeah!1

I compete in 84kg. Gym best is 145kg, on the platform, 135kg.
But since I’m a bench specialist these days, I typically do between 85-100kg depending on how I feel.1 -
Did the 100 squat challenge with a 25 lb kettlebell. Not fun.
I can't squat super heavy (disc issues), but manage 115 lbs easy for 3x12. Heaviest I've ever gotten to was 135 before having to back off.1 -
27, 145lbs, 4'11
My 1 rep max is 205

I unfortunately have two bad knees and a bad back. One needs to be replaced but I'm too young and have to wait. Squats actually help my knee but I can't go crazy. 5'7", 168 lbs. I've been doing 105x10x4, modified, can't go too deep either. Can't even try for a one rep max which makes me sad.0

At 5'3, 115lbs my 1RM is 155lbs
Either you form is bad and/or your volume is too low if you are not progressing.1 -

Currently 5x5 (Stronglifts program) at 135lbs and ready to progress to 140lbs next workout. 5'1", 240lbs, 35 years old. Started with the empty bar.4

i usually work in the 80kg range for 5 sets of 8-10. but i've been having some issues with hip impingement recently and have backed off to the 70kg range and have decreased volume along with adding more accessory work in.
i'm 5'4 and 122 pounds.0
