dairy-free cloud bread recipe

Options
Hello all, I found recently this great idea to use egg and creme cheese to make bread and would like to do so. However, I'm a bit lactose-intolerant and was wondering if they make any lactose-free substitutes. or if I omit cream cheese, what would I use in place? All I can think is tofu? maybe non-dairy yogurt?

Thank you all so much! Hope you all have a great day.

There is a very good dairy-free cream cheese. I think the brand is Tofutti. I like their non-dairy sour cream as well.

FYI this stuff is nothing like bread, it's like floofy wafer.

How can you be a "bit" intolerant .....

lactose intolerance varies in degree of severity. most people produce a small amount of lactase (the enzyme used to break down lactose) but how much depends on their genetics, the region they grew up in, how often they've continued to eat dairy, etc.

So it's a scale... some people can tolerate SOME lactose but there's a threshold while some people can't have any at all.

Anyways, OP.... Use lactose-free cream cheese....
