What does it mean when I log for the day and it states "If everyday were like today you would weigh 1.5 lb. Does this mean I would lose that or gain that? I am trying to do calories at 1200 a day, if I run off 300 calories on the treadmill then do I add that to my 1200 and eat 1500? Also if I am watching my calories should I also be watching the fat etc or just keep up with calories. Can calories be carried over to the next day if you have any left over? Thanks so much,

Sounds like a glitch to me. Mine always tells me how much I will way in 5 weeks, like an actual weight.
You should absolutely be paying attention to total nutrition, proteins and carbs should make up the bulk of your calories with fats in 3rd place. You need them, but in moderation. Not all calories are created equal and just counting calories may help you drop weight, but you will not be as healthy as you can be.
You can eat your exercise calories or not, it is up to you. I find for me that i do not need them unless I work out an excessive amount. For you it will depend on how much you want to lose. The closer to your goal weight you are the more of them you need to eat in order to fine tune your maintenance rate. If you have more than say 20 pounds to lose, it is my opinion you do not need to eat them all. Others here will certainly disagree.
You calorie totals do not carry over per-se, but it is a cumulative amount per week or month that overall helps you lose weight. But you want to try and have a fairly even line, don't binge and starve but maintain an even strain, as best as you can.0 -

If this helps my said I'd weigh 141.6 in 5 weeks.
I just started this on Saturday 2/8/09 at 150 and as of this Tuesday down one pound. My goals were like yours until today, I raised my calorie intake to 1300 because of what I was reading on other messages. I think the 1.5 should be your weight??
I've only been walking on the treadmill, and burning @220-300 calories.

Yes, it sounds like a glitch because mine too says I would weigh 183 pounds or whatever. Meaning, if I ate the amount of calories that I ate today, everyday, in 5 weeks I would lose (or gain, depending) enough to weigh that amount. It's just a guideline because if you don't log anything for the day it will give you a crazy number, like I would weigh 100 pounds or something and thats obviously not right because I cannot eat nothing everyday and still be a good weight (or alive!).
You should eat your exercise calories, so yes you would add them to the 1200. However when you log in the exercise it will automatically add it so you can just go by that. Some people do not eat them....its a pretty widely debating thing here, but I guess to each their own. The way I see it, it makes sense as to why we need them, I have successfully lost weight by eating them and it sure makes working out easier when you know you get to eat some more.
Your body doesn't reset itself each night at midnight, so if you still have 200 calories left over at the end of the day, its not like your body will roll them over into the next day. You should treat each day as a new day. However, there are times, like say a holiday where I ate a lot where I might not eat my exercise calories for the next couple days to kind of compensate, but it's not something I would do on a regular basis.0 -

No I don't, but if you post the first part of your question about the glitch under the technical support/need help message board someone should be able to help you.0
