How long do my fellow gals feel it takes them to drop the water weight that comes with their period?

    I've noticed two outcomes:
    1) I'll retain water leading up to my period and then once it starts, it returns to normal.
    2) I'll retain water in the middle of period and once the bleeding lightens I'll go back to normal.

    Same with me! I was hoping I wasn't the only one. Sometimes I have to wait a few days after my period ends

    I'd say 4 days. I was wondering why the scale went up 3 pounds a couple a days ago and then boom it started.
