I am new to MyfitnessPal. It is very interesting to keep track of every meal and snack you eat. I live with my daughter, and I eat more healthier now, than before. I was just snacking. I love fruit, Cantaloupe, Strawberries, Blackberries, Oranges, Grapefruit, Pears and etc. I also dig vegetables, Fresh Green Beans, Corn, Broccoli, Cautiflower raw, Carrots raw, Spinach, Greens. Many of these foods, I was introduced to in my childhood. Growing up I had a well balanced diet daily. If you consider Fried Chicken, Mash Potatoes with a vegetable, those types of foods, and I was more active then as well. I did eat a variety of beans, my daughter does not like beans. :( I will be 61 next Monday, and the new change is not easy, but I am adjusting to it. I had foot surgery in October of 2017. I could not exercise. That was a bummer. I had a Cornea Transplant done in 2016, and that stopped me from exercising also. I love to walk, and I use to walk 5 miles a day. I'm doing that again, and my next step is using the Treadmill. I do get my exercise in, and I also do yard work. If anyone has suggestions on what maybe better for me, please feel free to tell me.
