Freeze cooked meats.

This may be a stupid question or idea but does any members cook big batches of meat and freeze it.

    Yeah I regularly do that, it freezes well.

    Yes. Although I only do that for meat I'm going to eat cold (like chicken breast - gets used in salad etc) or meat that's cooked in to something (curry, stew etc)

    yep, I buy a 10lb bag of chicken breast from Costco, grill all at once, place in freezer bags and freeze. Last about a month

    Yep!
    I cut it up into pieces, wrap in Saran wrap and then put in a zip loc freezer bag.
    Great for grab and go salads or snacking.

    I do. I just cooked sliced up chicken breasts and peppers with taco seasoning. Then, I portioned it into 6oz packages and put them in small baggies and then in a big ziplock and chucked it in the feeezer. Then, when I want some, I grab a small baggie and know exactly how much is in each bags. Great to heat up for quick salads or wraps.
