I started at 176.4. A week later am at 171.2. Am doing a very low carb--high protein, greens , salads, roasted nuts.
No bread, crackers, chips, or dairy products at this time--or peas, corn, etc. Only fruit is an apple a day.3 -

Not quite to 5 lbs lost, but considering I've spent the last week and a half at maintenance, I think I've done pretty well!
I broke my finger on Feb 17, so will be eating at maintenance for 3 weeks to help it help promote it healing.

To be honest, I feel a little cheated this month. I upped my exercise from 30 to 60 mins per day and burned 600 calories daily on my stationary bike for the last 3 weeks. I strength trained twice a week with my personal trainer. I tracked ALL my food every day and only ate over my calories 3 times in the whole month - then only 150 calories or so. I upped my water from 8 glasses per day to 10 glasses per day for the last week. I feel like I did everything right and still the weight did not come off. Two things working against me this week: my 15 yr old daughter had surgery on Monday (which was unbelievably stressful for me) and TOM. Rather than feeling defeated by the scale, I am going to focus on the inches I have lost this month and hope that my weight drops in the next week. Tomorrow is March and I will try, try again.1 -

Happy Wednesday, everyone!
I missed my Sunday check-in. I've been crazy busy for the last week.
My weight is UP and I'm not happy about it. I don't know why, nothing much has changed, I'm making sure my portion size isn't creeping up. I had one day when I literally didn't have time to eat anything but a snack shake. I bused tables at a wedding last Saturday night and ran my tookus off. I have eaten fast food a couple of times but didn't overdo it and stayed within my daily calorie goal except for one day.
And still... I'm up in 207 landFrom a recent low of 204.4. Not cool. Oh well, nothing to do but keep trying right? I am recording a gain this month for the first time. Even my next worst month I lost a fraction of a pound.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
