I've only had 3 massages in my life, and the 3rd one I just had last weekend at a local spa right down the street from my house. It was really nice. I got an 80 minute swedish-style massage, and tipped $20. I think this particular spa is pricier than others though. I'd love to go regularly, but for the 50 minute massage it's $100, $140 for 80 minutes. I don't know maybe that's average? I don't know enough about it.
In any case, it felt wonderful.
I pay 65 for an hour.
damn. ok, so $100 for 50 mins seems way overpriced

Depends on why I am going for a massage.
Muscle soreness? Stiffness? The I want Pettrisage, Tapotement and Deep Tissue Massage, followed by hydrotherapy.
Just want to relax? Effleurage, Water immersion Therapy.

I go to a local spa. Usually a combination of trigger point and sweedish massage. 20%.0
