So I've been baking OUTRAGEOUSLY lately. It's like I have a Martha Stewart gene somewhere in me that sets off about once a month and i just want to BAKE GOODIES. I spend half of my time planning the recipe to reduce fat/calories and what not, but i can't help but to nibble along the way... even when I don't have room for it in my daily cals.

what do yall do to keep from eating half of the baked goods throughout the process?

I chew gum, or have baby carrots or sliced strawberries or something along those lines ready, less tempting to taste test

I just try not to bake.

You can send the finished product to me though, that should help prevent temptation  haha

I have the same problem, but by the time the cookies or brownies are done I'm sick from the batter and don't want to even look at the baking. It's not like I'm eating bowls full of batter either just a tablespoon or two make me full.. maybe its the raw eggs.. haha

I usually have a piece of peppermint, brush my teeth or rinse with mouthwash. Nothing tastes good after you have done either. LOL

heard a good idea somewhere. i dont know if you like to teeth whiten, but if you do, or if you were planning to in the future, buy the teeth whitening strips, and wear them while you are baking. cant eat through those! or maybe you could...ugh ew :noway:

I cook my veggies first then eat on them while I cook the rest of the meal. Or I set a bag of baby carrots on the counter and munch on them.

Because I am extremely accountable for logging everything, I have a hard time ingesting anything that gives me a hard time figuring out calorie wise. Nibbles here and there are not worth my time or effort to log.:ohwell:

    Maybe this will help you.
