Low carb diet has been working for me0

Just move into exercise slowly. I was the same way--hated it...now (and its still hard to believe it even as I type it)...I cant get enough of it. You can limit your calories and eat great, but without at least a little exercise, you arent going to get far.0

Hi there, I am 30 something and I also was not into exercise until a few years ago. My form of exercise is quite simple and low intensity.....I am a (happy) walker. I take 4-5 walks a day a little over 2 hours and I love it, i have a bad knee so not much into running or high impact stuff as I want my knee to last as long as possible. Getting outside and taking a walk can do wonders for your waistline and well as your mood
. I walk a lot now but when i first started is was just 25 minutes on my treadmill every morning. Good luck to you on your weight loss journey.

Well what do you enjoy doing? There's plenty of ways to burn calories not exercising. I like to walk with a friend early in the evenings, a good dance with my kiddos and sometimes just working around the yard. It's amazing how much you'll sweat "not" exercising. What ever you choose to do...ENJOY it! Good luck!:happy:0

Mummy tummy? as in you have kids? if yes than play with them. Babies make great weights - lift them over and over. Bigger kids that can play ball (like soccer) can be a lot of fun. Do some dancing turn the radio on and go for it. You can do some random squats and wall pushups broken into tiny segments - like during commercials, or everytime you go to the potty etc.
Tell us more 'bout your day and we can customize a little better0 -
Well i would love to sat that my babies are still little little (but they are of school age-but still my wee babies! he he!) I seem to get bored too easily when doing exercises. I'd like to try a fitness dvd, but the ones i have done were way to fast, busy and seemed really hard going0

What kind of foods are you allowed? and most importantly whats off the list?0

Leslie Sansone has good paced walking DVD's, they are not complicated but you can really work up a sweat.
And as far as what's not allowed - that will have to be up to you. I would say in a nutshell stay away from processed foods as much as possible. The more whole and fresh a food is will be better for you and also harder to overeat.
AND - I personally stay away from 'diet' foods. A lot of them are full of mystery chemicals, huge amounts of sodium, and even hidden sugar.0
