I’ve never counted calories or had a real diet. Can anyone tell me what a healthy day is like for a mother of 2 little ones (3 & 11months). I’ve read so many things that i don’t know what to do. I did Dr Oz’s 2 week weight loss diet and nothing happened. I was always hungry!

There is so much good quality information in the Most Helpful posts at the top of this page. I would start by reading those.

Have you set up MFP with your stats? I believed you had to do that in order to access the forums. That procedure should give you a calorie target. You're supposed to hit it, by weighing and logging your food.

Weightloss happens over time - under "perfect" circumstances (having enough body fat (obesity), setting the optimal calorie target, and sticking to it like glue), you can lose up to 1% of your body weight in fat per week, but (water) weight fluctuations can mask up to two weeks of fat loss - so you need patience and a certain degree of accuracy.

A healthy day for anyone, includes getting in enough of all the nutrients you need, and over time, not eating too much. As a mother, you have to feed your children and be a role model for them. A healthy diet is balanced and varied, the easiest way to accomplish that, is by eating some food from each food group every day, and different foods through the day and from day to day. Enough skills to make simple meals allows you to eat cheap, healthy and tasty.
