What are your favorite things to meal prep?

I do a lot of berries and cottage cheese and the @crazyravr for low-carb waffles. Slow cooker steel-cut oats. I also do a lot of fresh veggies sliced with edamame hummus and Crunchmaster crackers. Salmon and tuna packets happen quite a bit and sometimes I'll do a big batch of soup in the slow cooker and eat that for the week.1

Hey there! I usually meal prep my lunches for the week on Sunday with 3 things.
1. one protein (chicken breasts, shrimp, fish, ground turkey patty, etc)
2. One green veggie ( broccoli, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, etc). I sometimes buy the steamer bags for convenience.
3. One carb (Jasmine rice, sweet potato, brown rice and quinoa, etc.) I don't overdo it on the amount of these.
I have begun eating more calories in the morning (overnight oats and golden milk) and I just don't get as hungry later in the day. This amount of lunch with a full bottle of water (and water and green tea throughout the day), keep me satisfied throughout the day.
For snacks, I ration out different things. I usually do about 4 honey wheat pretzel rods for my morning snack and then for my afternoon snack I know green tea. I'm never usually famished when I get home3 -
Oh, and I purchased some really pretty glass bowls with lids. All I have to do is grab them and go in the am.!0

Salads, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, olives, fetta cheese with chicken breast for the next day. Quiche, really easy meal to reheat and eat. Making smoothies is really easy to prep and eat takes no time to make if u buy frozen berries or if u can get plenty fresh. Bannanas, berries, greek yoghurt and coconut water. Beef jerky walnuts and an orange, fast easy and ready to go high protein snack.
Just make sure BJ is low in sodium. I dont really prep much i just plan with a list of meals to make and buy the ingrdients weekly. Best of luck Chesves!0 -
For breakfast I make a roasted vegetable and egg casserole. I make big batches of soup for my lunches. My husband likes to bring salads so I prep all the parts on Sunday and Wednesday evenings and assemble in the morning. I also use my instant pot on Sunday and prep proteins for the week. So, in the evening all I have to do is prepare the vegetables for the sides.0

My husband and I prep veggies (Celery, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.) and have them all portioned out ready to grab and go. We do the same for grapes and have apples oranges and bananas on hand. For the main lunch dish we tend to have leftovers from the night before. We just put them away in lunch containers. If we don't have leftovers I have tuna pouches on hand as well as single serve soups in the freezer that I cook about once a month.0

Pasta and sauce. Weigh and scoop it into your individual serving containers before it even hits the fridge. Huge time saver!0

Check Pinterest for ideas for sheet pan recipes, crockpot recipes, and casseroles. This week I made a chicken and brown rice recipe in my crockpot and an enchilada pasta casserole. I used the My Fitness Pal recipe builder to figure out the calories for each recipe. My favorite sheet pan recipe is lemon pepper salmon with parmesan asparagus.0
