I don't ride motorcycles... I want to, but the knucklehead drivers here scare me.

If I did ride, it would be one of these:

I wanted a motor bike, sadly so many people have died from accident. So for now, I will chill whilst driving my car with the heaters on.

2006 Suzuki GSXR 750. I was actually able to get out and ride a couple of weeks ago when the temps got unseasonably warm. Cant wait to get back on her again. 520shzs30qlb.jpg

All the guys I ride with come over the 1st Thursday of every month. Cigar Night. Usually partake of some pretty good bourbon as well.

Been riding since 1972. Have owned multiple Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Harley Davidson and Yamaha bikes. Current bike is a Yamaha FZ1 sport standard, which I also use for sport-touring.

I'm in SC where it isnt supposed to stay cold. I found 50-55 degrees is about my limit. And that is only if I'm layered up enough to look like that kid in A Christmas Story.

I would much prefer to get on the bike if its 65.

The reflective tape looks good on the wheels, btw. I've been thinking about putting black reflective pin striping on mine.

At about 55 degrees is about where a bike makes the best power due to air density. However, most times, the tires can have issues with grip. I've ridden a bike in all but January while living in MN. Coldest was about 19 degrees while rolling down the interstate on a liter sportbike. Tires couldn't get warm enough to grip the road due to temps. But, there was also heavy frost on the roads which made for an interesting ride into work.

I haven't been on the street in over 12 years now. Too many idiots out there texting, bebopping to music, shaving, eating and just plain rude and agressive. I'm happy to stay on the dirt now, or SuperMoto riding closed tracks. Safter that way.
