Okay so...
I’m a student on practicum right now working 8 hours a day Monday to Friday. I get home at like 5:15 and relax a bit then workout from 7-8. My goal is to lose like 15 lb before June but the thing is I’m gaining weight but I’m not eating bad. For breakfast I have a protein shake with like 20 g of protein and lunch is usually more packed with quinoa and some meat, veggies, granola bar and an apple. After work I try to eat light before working out I have apple with peanut butter and one boiled egg. I workout for about an hour and 10 minutes and I normally burn 350-400 calories. I started this like 3 weeks ago but my weight has gone from 228-238 and I try not to eat out as much as possible and workout 5 days a week. I feel like I’m gaining muscle but I really just want the scale to go down I know gaining muscle is good compared to just losing weight but as much as I try the scale is what’s in my brain. I’m slowly losing hope I don’t know what to change to lose more weight? Also I workout in my basement by just watching YouTube workout videos and then add in some of my own made up cardio after. I don’t want the scale to go up again next time I check any suggestions on things to change or add????

I would take some measurements too... sometimes using weight as the only measure doesn't really tell the entire story. Measure your waist, your thighs, upper arms.... write them down or record them here. After a couple of months measure again. Also you don't say how long you have been in the routine above. Things won't happen instantly, or even quickly, this is a slow process sometimes.

Are you weighing your food accurately? Eating healthy does not guarantee that you will lose weight - calories count regardless of what you are eating...

Also, you may be gaining strength, but you will not put on an appreciable amount of muscle in a 3 week period (especially as a female). The best a woman can hope for is about 1 - 2 pounds of muscle every couple of months, and to do that you basically have to spend your life in a gym.
