Hi everyone. I need to lose at least 108lbs, probably more. I am hoping to find a few people to add as friends who are like-minded with similar goals. I'm a SAHM and I notice on days we don't go anywhere it is much harder to not snack frequently. My littlest eats often through the day. I am use to eating with or eating their leftovers lol. Just looking for support and very hopeful this time will be my time to lose

You've got support. I'm not a SAHM but I have two little ones under two. Add me if you'd like.
You say your youngest eats a often during the day...how old is he/she? My two year old only eats breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner, no other eating during the day. This keeps her and us on track about how much she's eating and making sure she's getting what she needs. she is in daycare and that is the schedule she's had since she was 1. My 8 month old is still on formula but he also only eats "solids" three times a day.
If you can get your kid on a good eating schedule that might help you to do so as well. Yes, it is hard not to eat their leftovers but remember that you only get so many calories to consume in a day. Put them in the fridge and eat them for breakfast.
Take it one day at a time and just know you are not alone.1 -
LO is 2. She doesn't eat much in a setting so our normal day is close to this. Wake up and nurse after kids to go school, breakfast (around 930), nurse. Lunch around 12 for her, and then during nap time I eat lunch for me. When she wakes she has a snack (330ish) and normally wants another snack around 5 and I have one with her. We eat dinner late due to activities and schedules so around 730-8.0

Hey momma! I'm new to this site and tool, but I can tell you from experience with other online weight loss groups, the support is usually fantastic.
I can sympathize with struggling to snack. There are a few things you can do to help yourself with this. Eating high fat/protein foods will definitely keep you fuller, longer. It does take time for your body to adjust, though - so take the wins and losses, and keep learning about what works and what doesn't.
It took me nearly 3 weeks to have a perfect day... and I didn't even know I'd done it until I looked back and realized that - HEY! I did it! It just takes practice, like anything else you're trying to teach yourself - changing your lifestyle takes just as much work. Unfortunately, there's also a ton of emotional baggage and expectations of yourself that can muddy the waters. Be kind to yourself, allow for mistakes and correct. Learn. Explore and try new things.
You can do this!
You're welcome to add me as a friend if you like!1 -
