Hi, everyone!!! I need to lose 24 pounds. The most important reason is that I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and I believe that if I get my weight under control I can also get my insulin levels down as well. Would love to hear suggestions!

Welcome! I had gestational diabetes with both my kiddos! I agree that diet will help without medicine. Eat tons of veggies. I couldn't eat too much fruit, but berries might be a good option for you because they are lower in carbs and sugar. Good luck on your journey!0

Hello! I joined Myfitnesspal a little over a week ago and have already lost 6lbs!!! I was shocked! But my calorie count was out of control and most importantly my blood pressure was too high! I feel a lot better so far with controlling my calories and exercising. It's been really fun to do this.0
