Hey everyone! This is a fantastic site! I'm a food-addict, I'll admit it! I LOVE food!!!
I lost 50lbs a few years back doing Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig...then I met the love of my life, got married, and gained it ALL back. Got pregnant last year and I actually LOST 30lbs during my pregnancy.
Its been 5 months and I'm still eating like a pregnant woman! Go figure! Its hard to break the cycle. But I want to look fabulous and feel fabulous! I want to run and play with my son (when he can actually start running) without all the fluff holding me back! I want my husband to look at me the way he did when we first met! And to top it off, my brother-in-law finally proposed to his beautiful, thin and toned girlfriend (my friend) and their wedding is only 8 months away! I really want to look good for that! So this fluff has to melt off!
I do have a concern. I am breast-feeding and I know you are supposed to add calories to your diet, even if you are trying to lose weight. Is there a feature that anyone knows of so you can add that to your calorie count? If not I'll take the negative calorie count but it would be SUPER helpful!!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful and successful day!!!

My doctor told me I needed to add 300-500 calories a day while breast feeding. Also be sure that you are getting lots of calcium and lots of water...both of those will help. :-) I don't think there is anyway to add the calories other than just mentally. Good luck!0

I'm a mommy to a 2yr old, feel free to add me, hopefully we can help motivate each other!0

Can you talk to a nutritionist? I saw one when I was BFing my ds, Lennox, at the end of last year and she told me that 1500 to 1800 calories a day would still let me nurse him! I weaned him 1/11/11 when he was just over 16 months old.0

Yes my nutritionist had recommended me to have an extra 500 calories a day. I just looked it up the food database and it has a breast feeding option! So I added that to my food journal! That's really cool, I'm glad that I can put that into account. Now I'm not as worried! And I am willing to make new friends! It would be nice to be able to to talk to other moms who are going through this as well!!!0
