Down 14 lbs but having trouble figuring out new clothing size?

So as of today, I've lost a total of 14 lbs! I started the "Naturally Slim" program and it helped me to realize how much I overeat and how fast I eat. I never truly looked at it from their point of view. I've also adjusted my eating habits (and I'm still trying to conquer my weakness for sugar). I've started becoming a lot more active outside of work and I'm starting to see a slight difference. I didn't really feel like I was losing anything or making a difference but the scales and measurements show another story! Anyhow, I just having trouble finding a size that fits. I've only lost a couple inches off my body but due to lack of time (I won't have the spare time for awhile to go to the store & try clothes on) and every time I order something online the size ends up being too big. My waist is 31, hips 44.5 and thighs 24/25. It seems like I should be a size 14 or 16, but those are too big now. So I'm guessing my next try is a size 12? Anyone else experience not fitting sizing chart measurements recommendations?

Every body is different! Just try on lots of stuff! I am just barely smaller than you are (an inch in the waist, couple inches in the hips) and wear 10 and 12 usually. Sometimes a juniors 13.

Congrats on the weight loss. I would personally try to make the time to go in and try stuff on. The time it takes to pack up and ship the parcels back could be used for purchasing clothing that fits.

The stores from which I'm ordering are over an hour away and would close by the time I would be able to make it(I won't have that time until a couple weeks from now).

Everyone is different and shop sizing is different so try the clothes on... maybe wait until you can get to the shops? or order two sizes so you can return the one that doesn't fit?

Online stores are a gamble. I always read reviews to get an idea of the fitting issues. Do not buy clothes from china...hong kong and the such. They will never fit right.
You have to go to stores and try things on to get any sort of idea.

Congrats on the weight loss! Maybe try leggings and tunics so you can get longer wear out of them even as you shrink? Yea online shopping sucks, I always have issues with fit.
