How long for results with a good diet and Zumba?

I have put myself on a healthier diet and have been doing Zumba 3-4 times a week. So i was wondering, since i have been doing this for about a week, how long will it take before i see results? Such as being smaller and weighing less. How long did it take u, and how much weight did u lose doing Zumba in 4 weeks? :ohwell: ~:heart: Sadie

  • You should typically lose 1-2 pounds per week. I've been doing Zumba (not regularly) for a few months now and I'm down 40 pounds. Give it time. Don't focus on the losing part. Focus on what you're doing and the weight will come off! I <3 Zumba!!

    Back in Feb I did Zumba 3x a week along with a little more cardio and I was able to lose about 6 lbs that month. My husband said that he could see my legs and arms toning up. Hope that helps.

  • Zumba is where I lost most of my weight, I lost 1-2ibs a week. Now, since I left my Zumba dvd 2hrs away from me....I have been doing exercise DVDs with Jillian Michales...not losing as much! I want my Zumba back! :sad:

    The weight loss is different for everyone. I have been doing Zumba since 1-29-11 couldn't love any exercise more! I started eating healthier when I joined MFP in March and all in all I have lost 41 pounds in the 6mths. Just enjoy what you are doing and congrats to you for sticking with your new lifestyle!
