handicapped and exercising all ideas welcome newbie here

i have just started a 60lb road to stay out of a wheelchair my walking is very limited and so is upper body currently i am trying to go twice a week to walmart and hang on to cart and walk for 15 minutes and more. i going to tackle driveway when weather is better any other ideas.

It really depends on exactly what your issues are. Do you have a physical therapist? They would be your best resource.
Can you do:
Stretching exercises?
Swimming/water aerobics?
Stationary bike?

If you're currently struggling with 15 minutes pushing/leaning on a shopping cart, You need to get to the point where you're doing that 10-15 minutes unsupported, before considering adding activities.
Without knowing exactly the nature of your limitations, it's hard to give any recommendations.
For upper body, seated range of motion push/pull forward/up starting with a tennis ball and progressing to dumbbells.0 -
you can do what I did. I recently hurt my ankle and have to wear a walking boot so I invested in an arm cycle. You can use it for ankles also. You can prop it on a desk or table for arms or sit and or sit and watch tv while using it for ankles. They weren't super pricey only about $45 on amazon. Ask the doctor to make sure it is okay first though.0

I agree with getting a consult with a physical therapist. Ask your doctor for a referral. I have Juvenile RA and am working with a nutritionist. Even though I was already participating in a water aerobics class, he wanted me to have a PT eval for more help.
PT can provide you with some appropriate exercises to get started and build your abilities. Some would be supervised by PT and some to work on at home.
Water therapy would probably be a great option for you to start. You’d be supervised and be able to start in the supportive environment of the water in a therapy pool.1
