I can't see or feel a difference until I've lost about 10 lbs. Others don't start noticing until I've lost about 15 lbs.5

Ok thank u for letting me no0

It honestly depends. I started at 208 lbs and didn't notice a change until I was down 25 or 30 pounds. I've been losing really slowly from all over, so the change has been pretty gradual. As for other people, it's hard to say because a lot of people who see you regularly won't notice, or if they do, won't say anything. I've been losing for over a year now and just a couple of weeks ago had the first person at work comment on it 40-45 pounds later. I work with a guy who lost about the same amount over about the same time frame, and I honestly didn't notice until I heard someone else say something about it. Then again, I visited my in-laws in early December and they definitely noticed the change. So yeah, it depends.1

Thanks! It sounds like I've been losing about the same rate you are, maybe 3-5 pounds a month. It's easy to get impatient, but the time is going to pass anyhow, and the pounds do add up.1 -
Well its better to lose weight slowly so ive heard, so its working out to b weight loss of 1lb a week ive got about a stone to go to target weight, hopefully willc a change soon1

Did you take measurements? You may see changes there first.0
-
I did but only last week so will have to give it few more weeks0

I've lost 20 and still don't really see a change although others have1

Take progress photos! I started out at 195 (I'm 5'1"). I didn't really notice much until I was closer to 160. Then after another 20 pounds it was a big difference. Based on past experience losing weight, every 10 pounds after that is a massive difference as I get closer to goal. It may not feel like much or look like it in the mirror, but progress photos will definitely show you otherwise.3

The first place that you’ll notice is from your face. You’ll look different and people will notice3

What's your goal weight? The less you have to lose I think the longer it will take to notice/feel your body changing. It's great when other people notice too.2 -
Oh wow thats amazing, my goal weight is 140lbs anythin less would be great but trying to focus on that goal first, ive got about 10lbs to loose0

Friends report others notice at 20 lb loss. Don't know when THEY noticed being thinner.2

I noticing between 5 and 10 pounds.
Others after 15 pounds.0 -
Its taken me 15 lbs to just notice a change in my face. Nothing seems different with my body as of yet unfortunately..1

Take pictures. They really help when you're having a bad day!1

3-6 months if losing slowly and it will probarly be someone mentioning it rather than recognising it yourself untill buy smaller sizes.0

5 lbs for me.0

Depends where you start from. One quote going about here that was spot on for me:
"It takes 4 weeks minimum for you to notice. 8 weeks for your friends and family. 12 weeks for most everyone else."
But that really depends more on the percentage of weight you have lost. It's really noticeable for most people when your face starts to show it.0 -
I've lost somewhere in the vicinity of 15kg (33lb) since the start of the year.
When I get out of the shower or I'm getting dressed and catch myself in the mirror I honestly can't say I see much difference between my body at 160kg (352lb) and 145kg (319lb) but I know that's just a self perception thing and the result of gradual changes not being noticeable when you see yourself every day.
That said some sneaky bugger keeps going into my wardrobe while I'm asleep and making all my clothes bigger because they're all getting looser.8 -
Didn’t notice much of a change until I lost 10 pounds. And the change became more noticeable after losing 15.0

I'm 5'4". With a higher body fat percentage and weight above 155, it takes longer and more weight loss. I weigh 150 now and I can notice a difference with 3 pounds.0

14 lbs for me took.me.2 pants size and 1 top.size down, took about 8 weeks.to lose and now I need new clothes but not a.lot because I'm still losing.0

I have lost 20 pounds and still don't see a difference. I started at 226 and now way 206. I should have took pictures but unfortunately I didnt, not a big picture person. Losing 1 pound a week is great and keep up the great work!0

15 pounds in my case. That’s when I went down a size in jeans.0
