Anyone from the UK got any recommendations for good quality gym leggings that pass the squat test? And don’t cost the earth?! It’s so hard to find any at the minute!

I got simple black ones from Matalan - have seen me through a year so far of BodyPump and running and Stronglifts 5x5 - no issues :)

Sports direct have a load of new stock in today actually if you want to start there? I'm looking at some adidas leggings less than half price that are very tempting.

I get all my leggings from Primark, for £8 they are excellent

Lidl and Aldi frequently offer decent sports-equipment with a quite reasonable pricing.

I always buy my stuff from TKmaxx, bought a couple of Reebok leggings which have survived a years worth of Crossfit and an Obstacle course race each month. Only one tiny hole on the knee of one of them, that's it!

TK Maxx or SportsDirect. SportsDirect sell USA Pro tights and they're always colourful and patterned. TK Maxx has great deals on more and less known brands - I got a pair of Roxy tights in there for £9.99 last weekend that would have been £40 new in the shop.

Tkmaxx or keep your eye out for sales/outlet villages. Not sure where you are in the UK but if you are in the London area - Wembley has an amazing sports outlet village

Decathlon is my "go to" for sports / fitness gear. Their own brand stuff is pretty good (and v cheap) but they also carry other major brands, often discounted.
There are smaller branches starting to pop up on ASDA shops, so there's probably one nearer than you think.

Tesco - my leggings from there have lasted and washed better than my Nike ones

GAP online, free delivery and returns and they have 40% off at the moment if you sign up to their newsletters. They’re the only brand, other than Nike that I wear for training :)

I like my marks and sparks ones the best. They have a zip pocket at the back and a draw string on the waist. They have washed really well.
