As it gets warmer I start to HATE the shirts I run in because they touch my neck. It makes me feel like I'm suffocating in an oven, even if it's not actually that hot.

Do you have any suggestions for a tank top that is in the middle range of fit and loose, low neck, and is moisture wicking/quick drying? I'm going to go around to Target/Old Navy/etc. tomorrow but I figured there might be some good recommendations here?

What does middle range of fit mean? I think you need to maybe try them on to fit your size then go up a size or two if you want a loose fit, most apparel brands have tanks that wick away moisture and are low neck. I usually just choose anything polyester for top and bottom except for underwear, I use dry wicking cotton for hot weather jogging.

Most of my workout tanks are Russell Athletic, from Walmart. I like Under Armour gear, but I'll be damned if I'm paying 25-30 bucks for a tank top when I can get a Russell for half that (or less) that's made of the same fabric and does the exact same thing for me. UA is ridiculous with some of their pricing and a tank top isn't exactly a high-tech piece of apparel.

There are tanks that are designed to be skin tight, and tanks that are super flowy, regardless of size. I'd just like one that fits like a t-shirt. I think I saw it called something like 'mid-fit' but I can't remember.

I'll look into those, thank you!

Most of my stuff is either used or free. Look online on ebay; Poshmark, etc.

Here are a few of my favorites that are currently available. I like all of the below for running in hot (90+ F) and high humidity weather.

    Really quick drying: https://shop.lululemon.com/p/women-tanks/Lean-In-Tank-MD/_/prod8660081?color=0001

https://shop.lululemon.com/p/women-tanks/Run-Swiftly-Racerback-32974/_/prod120068. You can easily size up for a looser fit.

I have the older version of this: https://shop.lululemon.com/p/women-tanks/Cool-Racerback-II/_/prod8260230?color=32697. It's the thickest of all of the above tanks.

I have not really liked any of the Target tank tops I've tried; most do not wick moisture well and also tend to chafe.

I just got one from Walmart that is really comfortable. The brand is called athletic works, 65%polyester 35%rayon, super soft and light. I also have some DanskinNow and some from Old Navy (I really like their muscle tanks). Just try a few to see what you like.
