My relationship with food..

My relationship with food is a struggle. If I’m not eating greasy, flavorful or crunchy foods I feel unsatisfied. I’m looking for some guidance on how to fulfill those cravings while dieting. I have completely changed my diet to only chicken, fish or pork, with vegetables and fruits everyday. I drink water all day, no fried foods, no bread, or sweets.

Maybe make some sweet potato fries or chips in the oven with olive oil. Maybe that would help your cravings? Do you like salads? I like to add crunchy stuff to mine like nuts- good for protein too.

I might suggest looking into healthy fats through nuts, avocados, oils. Add some spices and seasoning. Try new recipes and food choices.

Air fryer. It fries foods without oil. I'm eating "fried" chicken and cauliflower tots (sounds gross but they are little bites of heaven!) right now.

OP, I have the same problem. I crave all that stuff too. I'm told that if I'm patient my tastes will change. Here's hoping!

It soundslike a horrible approach to cut out everything you like and replace it with foods that have the opposite qualities. And totally unnecessary. Not to mention that we need taste, mouthfeel, and dietary fat. And that cutting out things you like, will make you crave them like crazy, cave, and binge. A good relationship with food is not just about having a healthy diet, it's about trusting that you eat well, and eating food you enjoy. If you log your calorie intake, you can eat whatever you want. To lose weight, you just have to eat less.
