Ringing & Echos in ears when doing cardio

Hi all,

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this? I find that when I am in heavy cardio class or even weightlifting mixed with cardio that often during the class, my hearing will almost completely disappear for a few minutes and ringing will take over with a sound like I’m in an echo chamber. I can’t hear the words the instructor is saying and all I really hear is a tinny ringing for a few minutes.

Curious if anyone knows what may cause this?

Thanks very much. :)

    Bump.

I experience this too. I’m thinking not enough water? Or calories?

Ask someone to check your ears for earwax.
A sinus infection can also cause it.

I experience this when my blood pressure increases with exercise. Another reason could be you are not breathing correctly. Lack of oxygen will cause this too. Also protein before exercising could help if it is an insulin fatigue issue. Also monitor your heart rate. Keep in the correct zone, you may be overdoing. I suggest you check all 4 things pretty regularly.

Good luck and let us know if you find a solution.
