Well's it's 6 a.m. and I'm not use to getting up but I've been up almost 2 hours, showered and ready to go. OMG though, I had cut my leg shaving on the bone yesterday and naturally it's slightly bleeding and I know I can't have an open wound esp since he'll be putting a cast on that leg but I'm not saying a word and hoping when he see's it, I'll be on the operating table and he'll just procede and we move on with this. I want it over with. I'm not scared either and I give the Lord all the praise for total peace, but what I'm a tad anxious over is them brining me back home and having to carry my butt up these stairs. There are a lot of them with a turn and I'm not sure if I'll be in a chair or on the stretcher when they do this, but I'm just nervous about it esp. when I will have to surrender to these strangers. I'm just glad that this day is here and it'll be over soon enough and then the hard part begins again but my focus is on my leg now and what I have to do. If for some reason the Lord takes me home, I'm ready for that as well and it would actually be a blessing. I miss Joyce so much and it's been 3 yrs almost of heart ache missing her so to be with her forever in paradise is a blessing for me but this would be awful timing for Lana considering she's getting married so I guess I better pray to make it through, hahaha - ok, Lord, bless me and keep me here for Lana in Jesus name, amen - ok, no one can ever say I didn't ask with a pure heart. Well, who knows I may even come back on tonight, but I doubt it, hahaha - I'm really trying to be optimistic that this time will simply be much easier and I heal much faster too! AT least I know what I'm in for and what to do - I'm good - Love everyone on this site and to see those 70's blessed me and I'm pumped about seeing the 60's. Who knows hard much I'll lose in these 6 weeks - I'm hoping for 5 lbs at the low end and of course I'd LOVE to see 170 so who knows the count down starts now!

wow - ok let me say it another way THAND YOU JESUS for NO Pain, hardly any dizziness and no need to vomit! WHAT??? YEP sure didn't - ok and first time around 2.5 hours, this time 1.5 hours and a smaller cast (all I had to do was ask him) Oh I have such a wonderful surgeon. Though this cast is STILL much bigger than the one I'll get in 2 weeks (normal size) he didn't put it up to my knee and though it's STILL almost to heavy for me to hold up alone, I CAN! Now I did have a crappy nurse at first again to the point I felt fear so after she did a LOT of the initial stuff, when another one happened to come in, with tears in my eyes I pleaded for her to HELP me and get me a new one - THEY DID and all went smooth after that. All the dr's needed (I had a total before being knocked out of 7!) - they were all GREAT. 3 surgeries under there and I KNOW what I'm in for, but doing GREAT. The last terrible thing was that the place that gives me rides (and mind you, I had talked to them for 2 weeks about this set up) and were suppose to send an ambulence to carry me on a stretch so I didn't have to CRAWL out side and up these stairs (a total of 6 outdoors with 2 levels and then inside 26 with a turn 1/2 way up) - and these jerks when I called for my ride all of a sudden acted like they didn't have that means to get me and I was not happy, sad or angry - I was more nervous but I felt so good that Keith and Lana said "you can do this" and we'll figure it out without you crawling and we did! We used my scooter, I rested my knee on it and hopped - one step at a time. Not what I wanted to do, but I could! I want to take my time to Praise the Lord or making this SO smooth! I'm so grateful and STILL thrilled with weight loss though they are NOT wanting me to eat so little as I NEED now to eat to get my health back, but since I can get up to use toilet, etc. I'm going to keep moving as the way to build up. I'm not wanting to add more calories - I only will do that IF I'm really in need and again NO ONE knows my body but me - what I tell everyone, we all know those numbers to lose, maintain or gain, plus I'll know if I'm getting weak also - The Lord IS my healer, in Jesus name, amen0

Did you ever look into getting the fire stick or Roku ?0

No I want to look into it but with surgery so close, I didn't have time to order and mess with it - but once I'm on feet I will do it. Is this something You have then? Do I need to buy one per t.v. or one that will work on all 3? thanks for asking. Also my surgery went so well I'm surprised. This is my other foot and I asked to make it a little easier with smaller cast and I can't even tell you how MUCH it helps. It's still larger than regular cast but I can SLOWLY get myself up where the other cast it was impossible! Tomorrow I'm actually going to attempt to be alone and not tell the nurse, LOL but I don't want to ask others to help and have to miss work but I am stronger also now and I know I can do this if I stay here in livingroom which I will
I'm glad to be back on this site to be honest. I feel so good and I see all that weight I put on the last few years leaving me again! Great to feel good in my mind and the scale isn't bothering me either - I'll wait till I get into the boot and weigh in and who knows, maybe it'll be a nice surprise!
Hugs sweetheart
