I'm not Catholic or Christian, but I thought you could or were supposed to eat fish during Lent. I guess I must have been mistaken.0

Lent contains two components, Fasting and Abstinence. Fasting takes place on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. You are allowed ONE meal that day, no snacking.
Abstinence takes place on Ash Wednesday and ALL Fridays during lent where you are not allowed to eat meat (fish and seafood is allowed).0 -

My transition to the Keto diet also doubled as my Lenten fast because I'm giving up junk food which is my biggest vice.
I also read a Lenten Bible Plan every day. I seek to make God a part of my Lenten fast and I always end up having some major moments of clarity during it. Spiritual fasting is like having God on speed dial!0
