Cheat day went too far

Hey all, I've been on a mfp weightloss journey for about 2 months now. I eat 1200 cals a day and exercise a couple times a week. I've been having a lot of success.

Well me and the hubs decided to go out last night and I lost control. This morning I woke up and logged everything and I had about 4300 calories of garbage and booze yesterday.

I don't want this to set me back and I don't know what to do. Should I fast today? Should I try and go under 1200 for a few days or weeks?

What should I do? I'm worried I've just essentially undone whole week. What can I expect?

    Just go back to your 1200 cals.

    And maybe look at whether 1200 is necessary to lose weight? Increase your cals and fit food you like into your calorie goal each day and then you don't need to cheat.

    I agree with TavistockToad, just pick your self up and get back on program--for me personally I can't do a 1200 calorie diet, after a few days I will go overboard. You may want to consider losing a bit slower and be much happier with the process.
