Are you still drinking a lot of water? How do your sodium intakes look? Sometimes when our sodium intakes are high we mistake the thirst feeling for hunger and eat more instead of drinking a glass of water.

Getting enough protein, fiber and water??????

Try getting more and see if that helps!!

Or maybe it's just a bad time of the month......like for me today. I want to eat like a wild animal! But it's all about better choices. I think I'll go eat like an animal right now (on some broccoli though!) LOL Try and keep yourself SUPER BUSY so you don't have time to think about being hungry. At least that works for me.

Maybe you're still not eating enough. I had this problem and still do some days, but I actually lose weight if I don't obey that hunger. Has your weight stabilised?

I had to up my calories much quicker than once a week to stop losing. I weighed daily and if a trend of losing was developing I kept upping the calories. Mfp thought I could maintain at about 1650, but the real figure is nearly 2350! Ic you really don't want to lose I'd recommend weighing more often.

I just started on maintenance, and I noticed the same thing. Once I started to eat more, I started getting more hungry. I'm hoping I'll adapt to the new routine, and it will pass.

I decided to try something different for maintenance. I'm trusting myself to know HOW to eat, and how much. I haven't tracked calories for about a month now, but I still weigh every day (because I've always tracked my weight daily -- it works for me.) Basically I eat when I'm hungry, and if I'm going somewhere that I know will only have bad choices I eat a healthy snack first so I won't go crazy on the bad stuff. Still walking every morning as usual. It's worked so far -- my weight is stable, and I don't feel deprived of anything, I was afraid I would drive myself crazy trying to figure out exactly how many calories I needed to eat for maintenance, and I was pretty sure I didn't want to count calories forever. Counting calories worked beautifully to take the weight off, but the added bonus of doing it was that it taught me how to judge my meals without having to log everything. Hopefully you can find a good balance -- good luck!

i think i will keep tracking calories until my weight has properly stabolised -not willing to trust my appetite yet and i find cal counting helps me make better food choices anyway.. thanks for all ur advice everyone :)
