I really need someones help because i lost a bit of weight and then decided i wanted to make a healthy lifestyle change and i did for about a month but i am a long distance runner and i tracked 1200 calories on mfp so yeah it wasn't enough and i was depriving so much i lost a lot of my hair and my period and i was super tired all the time and weak. But i still wanted to lose weight so i kept depriving and then i guess i just cracked and now gained over half the weight back and even though i'm still a healthy weight i just see a fat pig. i binge eat almost everyday, in the morning and afternoon i'm amazing and eat perfectly healthy but a night i go crazy, like tonight and now am sitting here crying typing this, i need help please i am only in high school and i hate my life,, someone help please.

I completely understand how hard the cycle can be. The biggest thing that helped me is: DON’T BE TOO HARD ON YOURSELF. You can still see results without making yourself unhappy with your eating habits.
I like to think “80/20”. If I can eat healthy and be good 80% of the time, I can eat some treats or “less strict food” 20% of the time.
Don’t beat yourself up over a bad night of eating. You can always come back from it. Learn that that’s human and get professional help too!1 -
I highly recommend reading Bright Lines Eating by Susan P Thompson...you can find it on Amazon. She discusses that exact issue and explains why you do it.0

Please go to your parents and talk with them about this. If they won't listen then talk to your guidance counselor.2

First, seek some help: school nurse, parents, Coach. Follow up with Doctor.
Look up Brain over Binge by Hansen & The Binge Code Alison Kerr on Amazon. Good resources.
Strongly suggest stay away from calorie counting and weighing, diet sites, and be careful what social media sites you follow.0 -

Hugs to you friend. We are always here for you! Feel the emotions don't block it with food. Find a hobbie insead of eating like that at night. Examples,, talk to us, friends, read, make a journal, get into a show, watch a movie, buy a puppy boy that will take up your time, do your nails, search youtube, read that book people suggested. When you can and are ready and you feel out of control please get help.0

First - high school was one of the toughest times in my life. That age is difficult due to rapid life change and for me was an emotional roller coaster. Each day is its own challenge. You mentioned being a runner. Your coach may have some great information about nutrition to help you. If you lost your hair and your period those are signs of malnutrition and need to be taken seriously. Your body needs fuel. Especially if you are running. The macro nutrients are affected by what you eat. My daughter used to be a runner and her coach helped guide her to choose foods that nourished her and fueled her journey. Also talk to your mom about checking with your doctor. He/she can also help you with a plan that fits your fitness goals. Our experience was that most runners at my daughters school needed better nutrition but did not need weight loss. 1200 calories is geared for weight loss.0
