I have a bad back, a frozen shoulder, the upper half of right leg goes numb and lower half hurts when I exercise and I have bone spurs in my left hip. I just don't know what to do. 10 minutes of walking leaves me in pain. I can't sit up without horrid pain. I'm just lost.

Would maybe pool exercises help since it takes the pressure off? Would a stretching program help?

With that combination it must be very difficult.

How about trying many different poses and if any cause pain, cross it off your list. Kind of like trying different recipes.

My yoga teacher suggested that exercises on your back are easier because a beginner is less likely to wrench their back.

Similarly he had us line up our poses against a wall until we got an idea what being in alignment really felt like.

Core exercises and exercises to open your hips should be good but extra care is needed not to wrench your back.

How are you on the recumbent bicycle?
