Hi,
I normally listen to dance music while working out. . . but I am getting soooo fed up with my playlist. Can anyone suggest any good dance/pop songs that motivate them? 80s, 90s, 00's ????
I do love indie and rock, but these do not seem to motivate me to exercise. . . :-(

What's on your playlist???
Here's 3 off the top of my head:
Martin Solveig w/Dragonette "Hello" http://youtu.be/LnET4RKXx5k
The Movement "Jump" http://youtu.be/unmbUh2JowQ
DJ Dero "Do The Rave Stomp" http://youtu.be/0nb_SW9S7gE0 -
Land of Confusion by Disturbed.... Have a Nice Day by Bon Jovi... and for an older one... Neutron Dance by The Pointer Sisters! Then there's The Beastie Boys (Fight for your Right), Bonnie Tyler (Holding on for a Hero).... I could go on and ON with 80's stuff... YIKES!0

BBE - 7 days and one week
Michael gray - The weekend
Underworld - Dark and Long (remix)
Madonna- remixes
Jacques Lu Cont. .

I actually quite like Foo Fighters for a good stomping walk! Other than that Basement Jaxx, Booty Luv, I'm just looking at my playlist and I need to have a bit of a swap around myself... something to do on the bus going to work I think!!0

I use the free Podrunner podcast for fast walking it - it has beats per minute (ranging from about 130 bpm to about 170 so anywhere from walking to running), is really more techno than what i usually listen to, but it's a fast easy download, free and I don't have to spend a lot of time thinking about it. Plus it's easy to change when I get tired of it.0

I really love old-school rap, like Run DMC and Beastie Boys, any heavy metal-ish (Metallica) beats, and 80's hair band kind of stuff...gets me moving faster!
As far as newer artists, the following dance songs have a great beat:
Rhianna and Elephant Man - "Pon de Replay"
Bird and the Bee - "Love Letter to Japan"
(I know there are more of what I consider my "running songs", but my iPod is a shuffle, so I can't scroll through it at work)
If you are on iTunes, check out the "Now That's What I Call Music" CD's that come out each year - usually they have new, upbeat stuff that can update your tired playlist.0
