I am 4 months postpartum from baby #2. The first month and a half i put in no effort to losing weight and dropped from 171-150. Since then i have begun working out 3-6. Times a week depending on m schedule. I eat 600-1000 calories a day. I cheat once or twice a week. BUT i am not seeing anymore weight drop. I have always weighed between 95-115 pounds at 5 foot 4 inches. I am super uncomfortable with my body. i have accepted the fact i will never be that small again but i would like to be between 130-125.

Your calories cannot be accurate. They just can't. Get a food scale and really measure.

Please talk to your dr. You do not want to spiral into another battle with ED. At a minimum you need 1200 calories a day, and even more if you're breastfeeding. Please go talk to your doctor, good luck.

I only eat one actual meal a day usually one piece of baked chicken or porkchop with a vegetable. I snack on 1 hardboiled egg in the afternoon or half of an avacado. My calories are pretty low.

Well, that does sound awfully low.

I do agree with the others that you should discuss with your doctor.

Hormones, breastfeeding, etc. can all mess with weight loss. I know that too low of calories, at some point, can be problematic, but you should be seeing something. I know people with eating disorders can have issues due to binge eating; however, true anorexics don't remain heavy. I'm not saying you are an anorexic but I'm trying to make the analogy that starving yourself doesn't make you keep all the weight on. If that were the case, anorexics would never die from this.

so 600-1000 cals is a massive over exaggeration then?

I stopped reading at "600 calories a day". Consult with a nutritionist or your doctor. You're not going to see any consistent or healthy progressive with the caloric intake you're eating.

Please see your health care provider ASAP. None of us can or should be advising you about this.

    I agree with you.

1000 is usually the days i cheat. 600 is my best. Exp. Yesterday i consmed 668clories but and thats my typical but some days i add more food as cheeses or noodles or potatoes that i wont eat on a good day.

Eating 600cals is not a 'good' day.

Correction.... 600 is your worst days and 1000 is your best(still way way too low)

Remember weight-loss isn't a punishment for being overweight. Weight loss is just weight-loss.

You have serious eating issues or your calculating your food wrong. You eat between 600-1000 calories, that's way too low. I have a hard time believing that you're eating that low and if you are, you really need to eat more than that. You're basically slowly killing yourself. I agree with everyone seek help. We can't help you.

    And OP:

Also....echo the concern for you. While it might seem like you are being judged, you've set off all sorts of red flags here. People wouldn't be saying this if they didn't care. Your child needs you at your best and needs you healthy. Get the help you need. No other advice here from me regarding calories, TDEE, exercise or anything.
