You aren't going to gain any muscle in a calorie deficit and without strength training10

In order to gain muscle you need to increase your calories. That sounds weird, but it’s true. If you’re losing muscle instead of fat, then you are not eating enough. Your body has to take the calories from somewhere. I highly recommend strength training and less cardio, increase your calories and take vitamins. Which vitamin are you deficient?0

What do you mean by "was not able to meet my daily calorie intake"? You have to eat enough. Why haven't you been eating enough? Lack of time, appetite, funds?2

How are you determining you're losing muscle instead of fat?2
