Ok so i finally met with a nutritionist/ trainer and she re-did my way of eating. It looks something like this
Low Calorie Day for 3 days
Meal 1 - 37 pro 60 carb 8 fat = 460 cal
Meal 2 - 37 pro 50 carb 8 fat = 420 cal
Meal 3 & 4 - 37 pro 40 carb 8 fat = 380
Meal 5 & 6 - 37 pro 15 carb 8 fat = 280
TOTAL 2200 cals
High Calorie/ High carb day only every 4th day
Meal 1 - 53 grams of protein 80 grams of carbs and 11 grams of fat = 631 calories
Meal 2, 3 & 4 - 53 pro 60 carb 11 fat = 551 calories
Meal 5 - 53 pro 40 carb 11 fat = 471 cal
Meal 6 - 53 pro 15 carb 11 fat = 371 cal
TOTAL 3126 cals
This is basically a safer approach to the extreme carb cycling some body builders do. Its also just about a complete flip of how i used to eat. my biggest meals were normally later in the day.
I am currently on my third day of this cycle ( tomorrow with be my high cal/high carb day), and have noticed that I am extremely hungry in the morning. My breakfast has been about 350-400 calories each day and 2 hours later I am absolutely starving. Whats up with this??? Should I be worried that I will be overeating?
My diary is public if you would like to check it out, keep in mind i have only been doing this for 3 day
Thanks

I'm not an expert ,but processed foods tend to make you hungry. Try eating some plain oats in the morning with almond milk, fruit and some pb. You can also have eggs as well. I believe the egg beaters are processed also, so try making your own if you can. I pretty much eat the same thing everyday and my breakast usually gets me through about 3 hours and then I have a protein shake after my workout. Your dinner looks like plain protein. I would add in some veggies to that if you can. Is this person a licensed nutritionist? Just wondering, because some trainers claim to be nutrition experts and they aren't. Hope this helps some!0

Yes she is licensed. I know I need to get more calories in because I should be hitting 2200 calories a day ( i want to at least consistantly get 2000 a day) but its so hard to find low carb foods.0

What are your goals exactly? Are you still trying to lose? Trying to build muscle? I am 3 inches shorter then you and I eat up to 2500 cals on some days, but I am also in maintenance. In my experience, I had severe hunger problems when I was restricting calories and it made me miserable. Everybody is different and can handle different ratios of protein, carb, fat. I have pretty intense workouts and if my carb level is too low then I'm hungry and tired. The diet part is the most difficult to figure out and in the end, do what works for you and makes you happy.0

I have gained roughly 15-18 pounds over the last year and havent really been able to figure out how. I have been eating the same and exercising just as intensely. I am trying to lose about 20 lbs. I have great muscle tone but i need to get rid of the fat that I have gained.0 -

I have not seen weight loss in a year and have actually gained 15-18 lbs, even though i had not changed my eating habits or exercise habits.0 -
I have been through the same thing with the weight gain and it sucks. Once I started counted calories and was consistent about it, then I started to lose. I'm glad the dietician has you eating more. I lost more by eating more then I did before when I was restricting too much. I also lost more body fat when I weaned out most processed foods. They are full of sodium and other junk. It is definitely worth a try and if you have any questions let me know. Tosca Reno is a good resource as well as New rules of lifting for women. Strength training has also helped me tremendously. You can lose this weight! I'm sure of it.0
