Just wondering if running is supposed to help your core? I haven't really been doing any ab workouts lately, but I've been running a lot, and my abs are SORE.

If you are keeping your core tight while you run, you'll work it out! keep up the good work!0

I think so. You're not consciously using those muscles but your keeping yourself upright and naturally moving your torso as you swing your arms so those muscles are getting engaged. My core was sore last night after a run - just standing up at the sink cleaning vegetables was wearing me out!0

I believe so. I did a 6 mile run last week and my abs are still trying to recoup!0
