I am looking for suggestions on the best (affordable) green smoothie blender. I have been using a Nutri Bullet Pro for a couple years and it finally fell over and died this morning. My only con about the Nutri Bullet is that it often leaks from the underneath of the blades and sometimes is a bit small (I make big smoothies sometimes!). I also use a lot of kale and spinach in my smoothies. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Affordable, I giggle.
Speaking in the governmental form, "The Ninja Professional is an excellent affordable smoothie blender. "
I use it with hearing protection.

Vitamix? You can buy a reconditioned one for $300 with easy payment plans and a 5-year warranty. Makes silky smooth green smoothies. I've had mine for almost 10 years and it's still going strong. I could've went through 3-5 other blenders during that time.

I love my Ninja but you're right it's insanely loud.

I absolutely love my Vitamix, IMO it's 100% worth the investment, but the ninja should be sufficient for green smoothies. I've used one a few times and it cut through kale pretty darn well.
