Does anyone know of a guide to what calories are burned doing certain exercises on a Total Gym?

Never used one. You can guesstimate that it's 200-300 if you're lifting weights0

Hi all, it's very frustrating with the amount of apps available to track nutrition and exercise that none of them have the Total Gym listed within the exercise categories! Very frustrating. It's like they don't validate this equipment as an actual workout machine!?0

They aren't going to have any idea exactly what you are doing on the machine or how much effort you are putting forth. Generic strength/weight training is going to be about as good an estimate as can be provided. Or calisthenics if you are doing lots of quick reps of something with less load. Both are in the database.2 -
I have had one for 20 years and though I use free weights now, I still like to bust it out when I'm recovering from injury and often to do some pilates and cable work.
How you log it will depend on what you're doing. Like ritzvin said, if you're doing more quick reps at lower weights, I would choose calisthenics. For heavier stuff, mine has a weight bar for adding plates, I would use weight lifting under the cardio section. Either way, use the estimations conservatively until you have enough data to make changes if you need to (4 to 6 weeks)2 -

It doesn't have Total Gym listed because it's just a piece of equipment and what you do on it varies. Just like a kettle bell or fitness ball. There isn't one specific way to categorize what you're doing with it.3
