I am a type 2 diabetic. I want to loose 50# and get healthy. My goal is to get off the diabetic med for my birthday in June.

you can do it. just clean up your foods, add some exercise to drop lbs and we can do it. i did it once and i'm going to do it again0

Hi! You can do it. I was on diabetic meds for 3 years and was able to lose enough weight to come off of it.

That is what got me moving again, as well.
Speaking of moving, while exercise isn't necessary for weight loss, it is very helpful for glucose control. Find something(s) you enjoy that will keep you moving most days of the week!
Since you have such an aggressive goal, you might want to consider a lower carb diet, even somewhat lower than the ADA recommends. This may help with your glucose control, as well.0
