My TDEE is 2080 calories a day. Let's say I am going to rest one day on the couch and rarely walk, do I have to eat less calories than 2080? or do I still stick to it

Your TDEE is your average energy expenditure. A low day like that would be balanced out with high days to get your average back around to 2080.
It's up to you if you want to consume fewer calories on low days and more calories on high days or eat the same amount every day. An average calorie intake of 2080 would balance out an average expenditure of 2080 to give you weight maintenance.
If you are trying to lose weight, you would consume TDEE minus a certain percentage. MFP doesn't use TDEE and already includes a deficit in your calorie goal and adds back calories for exercise that you enter.0 -
