I easily lose motivation and fall off track.
I have first time in 2 yrs crossed the 210 and 220 mark.
Very discouraged and finding it hard to find motivation
I am 5 ft 6
Current weight 220
Goal weight 180
I reached 183.8 too but then fell back easily. Extremely easily.
But never so much.
Please add me up. Maybe I cud find some help by taking your journey as an inspiration.
I have come back to mfp again after a really long time.
Thank you so much

I have the same struggle. My goal is to lose 10 pounds. I started back on MFP on January 28th. I have lost only 5 lbs since then. My daily allowance is 1200 calories and it is so hard to stay within this amount. I am still 20+ lbs overweight but I am just focusing on the 10 lb goal for now. I have been overweight by 30 lbs beginning 25 years ago!! If anyone can tell me a plan to stay motivated, I too need some inspiration! I know your struggle!

I'm the same although I want to get to 147lb. I got as low as 200 a few years ago but put it back on now that I got to 220 my weight doesn't want to go lower than 215.1

Sounds like me... I was in the 180s-190s on and off last year and settled at 221! So here I am with the goal of losing 51 and hitting 170 as my goal. We can do this!!!2

I am stuck around 197. I'm hoping to get to 160. That would be my pre-pregnancy weight before I had 4 kids! I got down to 179 a few years ago, but not for long. I have no motivation to exercise, even with a new elliptical in my bedroom!
However, today is a new day. I had scrambled eggs and red pepper for breakfast, and only used half my usual sugar for my tea. I also need to cut back my alcohol at night. I'm hoping this time I will stick to it and maybe this group will help!1 -
Research body weight settling point. I am sure I will get woo'd, but it makes sense to me. Best of luck.1

I agree with you. I went from 307 to 170 slowly but steadily, and stalled for a year. Worked hard to get to low 160s and started losing a bit of hair, wonky menstrual cycles, my sex drive was next to none (usually very high), just felt blah...worked on staying at calorie deficit while adding more vitamins and being more careful with my macros, trying to make sure I was weighing things and not undereating or overeating. With a calorie deficit, I still went to 170 and felt great again, all systems reverted back to normal.
I'm planning to maintain in the range of 165-175 permanently which still makes me technically still somewhat overweight as a 5'8" female. Fine with it, and tend to believe some of the "woo" on stuff like this as a result. Doctor agrees, although I know that a lot of people believe most doctors don't know enough about nutrition and weight loss. I'm ok with it!
