I’ve been boxing for an hour 3 times a week, and staying very close to my calorie goal. Not a single ounce lost. I want to cry.

Make sure you're logging accurately. It's the most important thing... 3 hours a week of activity isn't much, when you think about it.0

I’m sticking too it and logging accurately. Three hours may not be much but when you haven’t exercised in years it’s a huge accomplishment3

New exercise can cause water retention.
Changes in diet can cause water retention.
Hormones can cause water retention.
Stick with the program. Even if the scale were to stay where it is forever, you would be healthier by eating more nutritious foods and moving your body.

Went from 122 kg to 92 kg last year and had the same thing. Just keep watching the calories and exercise and then you start losing kilo's exponentially.0

stick with it! I started counting calories about 2.5 weeks ago and just now saw a change on the scale! trust the process! it just takes time.1

staying "very close" to your calorie goal? or staying UNDER your calorie goal? there's a difference. keep at it.1

A week is not long enough to know anything. Just keep at it. Reply back in two or three weeks if you still have not lost weight.3

Also, it's only been one week. It took more than a week to gain it, it will take time to lose it. Be patient.0 -

It’s all about the calories for weight loss.
Eating clean (whatever that means) isn’t necessary.
OP stick with your plan, be patient, and make sure you are logging accurately - ideally using a food scale to weigh all your solid foods. Read the stickied most helpful forum posts they’ve got a lot of great info in them.0
